operated by Ohana Service Associates, LLC, with
Ric and Shelley Nelson as the sole
officers of the organization.
History
Lasting
Impressions was started by Reneé Anderson and Claudia Doran of Associates for
Child Development, Inc. who were owners/operators of Capitol Child Care under
contract with the State of Minnesota from 1990-2002, providing care for
children of State of Minnesota employees. Lasting Impressions opened in January
2003 at the Wabash Avenue
site. Ohana Service Associates,
LLC, acquired Lasting Impressions in April of 2007 to continue the remarkable
success of the program.
Mission
Lasting Impressions provides a safe, caring, accepting
and enriching child care environment for children and families while
providing a quality, respectful work environment for staff.
Licensed/Accredited
Lasting Impressions
meets or exceeds the licensing regulations of the State of Minnesota
Department of Human Services and is accredited by the National Academy of
Early Childhood Programs, a division of the National Association for the
Education of Young Children.
