The preschool program will provide activities and support specifically tailored to meet the needs and interests of the children.  When making our lesson plans, attention is given to all areas of learning such as math, science, phonics, and literacy.  We incorporate our theme for the week through the different interest areas in the classroom: dramatic play, art, blocks, science and discovery, library, music and movement, cooking, and sensory.  Second Step curriculum is also used in the preschool program as part of our weekly curriculum.  This curriculum is set up to help children learn and practice social-emotional skills.  This includes making friends, learning how to solve problems with other children, and managing their own feelings.
