Classroom Size: 1:5.5 ratio

As your child grows into her independence her energy and self- reliance can lead to wonderful moments of accomplishment as well as moments of exhaustion. Our teachers will work with your child to help them utilize their independence as a tool to strengthen and enhance their autonomy and self-confidence. Socialization is also a very important skill that your child will enhance in our toddler program. Our toddler room is organized into a number of activity stations that will allow your child to exercise their decision making as well as learning to cooperate, communicate and negotiate with other children.

General Schedule for Toddlers:

8:00 – 8:30     Breakfast
8:30 – 9:00    Child-initiated, Teacher-directed activities
9:00 – 10:00    Outside Time (weather permitting) *
10:00 – 10:15    Morning Snack
10:15 – 11:15    Teacher Directed Activities (i.e. art, sensory table, table toys)
11:15 – 11:30    Group Story Time
11:30 – 12:00    Lunch
12:00 – 12:30    Diapers/ Toilet Teaching/ Quiet Activities
12:30 – 12:45    Group Story Time
12:45 – 3:00    Nap Time
3:00 – 4:00    Diapers/ Toilet Teaching
4:00 – 4:15    Afternoon Snack
4:15 – 5:15    Outside Time (weather permitting) *
5:15 – 6:00    Child Initiated Play

* If weather does not permit, outside time will be held in our muscle room
